From researching indigenous cultures in the remote reaches of the Amazon basin to documenting endemic mountain gorillas in the misty jungles of Rwanda, Doug’s adventures span the globe. His photography and writing has appeared in publications such as National Geographic and Wend, and in gallery exhibits at the Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art and First Fridays, Missoula. An adventure athlete, Doug captures images and stories from the most remote trails and highest peaks. As a photographer, social entrepreneur, filmmaker, and conservationist, Doug educates and inspires people to protect the natural environment.
